So far in this series, we have outlined the different platforms that can be accessed through your single sign-on and the editorial process. In this post, we are focusing on how using RIAMS Libraries can help improve consistency across your organisation.
When an organisation uses Libraries to manage their procedures, notices and other documents, it is much easier to make sure that everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet, so to speak.
As you will see in the post about Sharing Information, which will be published on 10 December, we spoke to Shropshire Council about this but they also said that ‘one of the biggest benefits’ of subscribing to Libraries ‘has been document control, which helps to prevent our users using out of date content.’
RIAMS is a flexible platform and can be used either to provide all your documents, which, as discussed in the last post, is maintained by our RIAMS Editorial team. Alternatively, it can be used as a convenient and central place for you to host your own content.
If you’d like to find out more about uploading content to RIAMS, get in touch or keep an eye out for post five in the Benefits of Using RIAMS series, ‘Uploading Content’.
If there are any features in addition to those above you’d like us to highlight, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01239 711793.
