The Private Water Supplies Amendment Regulations 2018: The Changes Explained – No Pain, No Gain?
Allerdale Borough Council, Cumbria
This one-day course looks at the changes to the 2016 PWS Regulations – caused by the Amendment Regulations that came into force in July 2018. Some of the amendments are significant and increase pressures on councils to show compliance with a number of European Standards. There are other minor but important variations that will be pointed out. Changes to notices procedures, risk assessment requirements and fees will be examined. The biggest changes are to sampling obligations and these will be discussed at length, plus the competency issues now affecting the samplers themselves. Workshop formats will be employed where it is deemed helpful in order to allow participants to assess possible impacts on their day to day work.
Cost: Public Sector £168 (+VAT). Private Sector £208 (+VAT)
