New HHSRS Worked Examples Now Available

21st February 2019 RIAMS

RHE has now released a new set of HHSRS Worked Examples. The new Worked Examples have been developed in response to requests from local authorities across the country to represent new scenarios and topical enforcement issues, such as crowding and spaces.

The new Examples cover Damp and Mould, Fire, Crowding and Space, Noise, Structural Collapse and Falling Elements, Asbestos and Man-Made Mineral Fibre.

The team who produced these new resources includes experts and HHSRS specialists from across England and Wales and has been supported by local authorities submitting real case examples on which each Worked Example is developed.

Additionally, they have been developed under the supervision of Dr Stephen Battersby and Professor David Ormandy, using the same protocols applied to the original Worked Examples produced on behalf of the Government in 2004 and are likewise, intended to supplement the statutory Operating Guidance.

These have been published in the Housing knowledge area on RIAMS. If you subscribe to this knowledge area already, you will be able to access these new Examples free of charge. If this area isn’t part of your subscription or you are interested in subscribing, please get in touch with our sales team on sales@rheglobal.com or call 01239 711793.
