Find out more about the Speakers for our Housing Conference 2019

29th July 2019 Training

Earlier this month, we announced our fifth annual housing conference, Housing Standards and Tenancy Reform in the PRS, taking place in Solihull on 26 November 2019.

Our panel of respected speakers will be covering the latest in housing policy and regulatory updates and offering practical insight using informative case studies. David Smith of Anthony Gold Solicitors is a returning favourite. David specialises in residential landlord and tenant matters and he will be covering a legal update. Tamara Sandoul is the Policy Manager at the CIEH and will be speaking about housing policy updates.

Other speakers include Ursula Seddon, Marion Anthony, Andrea Towse and Ian Sanders. Ursula and Marion will be speaking about a First-tier Tribunal appeal case dealing with flood protection and the application of the HHSRS at Eden District Council while Andrea and Ian will be discussing Effective Housing Enforcement Policy and the HHSRS.

Arun Hennessy, who received great reviews at last years conference, will be discussing a Supreme Court case on HMO licensing and minimum room sizes. Finally, Dave Hickling from Sheffield City Council will be covering tenancy reform, illegal eviction and harassment.

With a great line-up of speakers aimed at keeping you up-to-date, please take advantage of the early-bird price being offered until Monday 15 September. In addition to this, an automatic 10% discount is applied if you’re sending more than one person from your organisation. Book your place now before it’s too late.
