How to Add and Remove Users on Your Account

In this ‘How to’ guide, we highlight how Administrators can add and remove users on your account. This functionality has been available for some time but there have been some changes since the launch of the new site.

To access the user management settings, click on the person icon located to the right of the black banner at the top of the page and select ‘User management’. You will then see a list of all the current users on your account.

Deleting Users
To delete a user, click on the X on their entry, you will then be asked to confirm the delete. Click ‘Delete User’ for the user to be removed.

Editing Users
To edit an existing user, click on their name and edit the information as needed. Once you have made your changes, click ‘Update User’ to save them. You are also able to change a users role if needed, for example, from a View only user to an Administrator.

Adding Users
To add users, click on ‘Platform Invites’ in the menu on the left and paste or type the email addresses of those you wish to add as users. Please ensure each user is on a separate line by pressing the return key.

Click ‘Next’ and select a role, either View only or Administrator, for each user you are adding. If an error has been made with the email address, click ‘Edit’.You can also remove individuals if you no longer wish to invite them to the platform.

Finally, click ‘Send Invites’ to invite the new user to your account. The new user will receive an email letting them know they have been invited to RIAMS and will be asked to complete their registration. Once they have done so, they will receive a second email asking them to confirm their email address. New users will have to follow both steps in order to access RIAMS.
