What are you doing for World Environmental Health Day 2019?

9th September 2019 RIAMS

RHE is proud to support World Environmental Health Day 2019. Around the world, organisations, universities and schools are celebrating this very important day which was launched by the IFEH in 2011. This year’s theme is ‘Climate change challenges, time for global Environmental Health to act in unison’ and you can read more about the IFEH and World Environmental Health Day here.

This year’s theme for World Environmental Health Day, Climate change challenges, time for global Environmental Health to act in unison, will help to raise awareness of the growing dangers of climate change but it will also be highlighting how Environmental Health teams in the UK can and do make a positive impact on tackling climate change.

Let us know what you’re doing to celebrate World Environmental Health Day on Twitter @rheglobal using #worldEHday, and make sure you hit ‘follow’ to ensure you always get the latest.

If you’d like to feature on the IFEH’s dedicated World Environmental Health Day page on their website, contact Henning Hansen on webmaster@ifeh.org.
