New e-Learning Course: Prepacked Food for Direct Sale
15th September 2021 Training
As of 1 October 2021, the laws around food packaging and labelling are changing.
Natasha’s Law, named after Natasha Ednan-Laperouse, who tragically died in 2016 after eating a sandwich that contained sesame, is coming into force and transforming food safety laws. For food businesses, this means that pre-packed foods prepared and packaged on the premises where they are sold need to be labelled to show not only the ingredients in the product but also highlighted information regarding the allergens that are present.
Our online course – Prepacked Food for Direct Sale – explains the background to the legislation and details the practical steps needed so enforcement officers and personnel in the food industry are aware and informed of the legal requirements. The course can be completed in your own time and will take about 45 minutes from start to finish. Read the full course summary and book your place here.
