Exciting New Project: Delivering a Rural Housing Action Guide for Wales

We are thrilled to announce that we have been contracted by Welsh Government to develop a comprehensive Rural Housing Action Guide for Wales.

This initiative aims to address the affordable housing challenges faced by rural communities across Wales, promoting sustainable development and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

The Rural Housing Action Guide will serve as a practical resource for local authorities, housing associations, community organisations, and other stakeholders involved in rural housing development. The guide aims to provide clear, actionable strategies to increase the supply of affordable housing, improve housing quality, and support sustainable rural communities.

A critical part of our project is engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that the guide reflects the needs and perspectives of those involved in rural housing. We will be working closely with local authorities, housing associations, developers and community groups to understand local housing needs and the challenges that are faced in rural development, as well as highlighting the great efforts and innovative affordable housing solutions and schemes already being delivered across Wales.

We are committed to creating a guide that is informative, practical and easy to use, helping to address the pressing need for affordable housing in rural communities in Wales. We look forward to working closely with our partners and stakeholders to deliver this important project and to making a positive impact on rural housing in Wales.
