Managing noise complaints across a large area isn't easy. When cases are sitting in a list, it can be hard to see the bigger picture

Managing noise complaints across a large area isn't easy. When cases are sitting in a list, it can be hard to see the bigger picture: where problems are building up, which areas keep coming up, and where you need to focus your time.
That's why we've built Case Map, a new homepage for The Noise App, launching on Wednesday 4 November 2026.

Case Map shows the location and density of active noise cases across your organisation's area of responsibility. It's the first thing you'll see when you log in to The Noise App, so you get an instant view of what's happening in your area.
Log in as normal. You'll be taken straight to Case Map.
See your active cases. The map shows where cases are and where they're clustered across your area.
Use the filters. Explore different aspects of your noise complaints. [Confirm the filters available, for example noise type, status or date range.]
Open a case. Move easily from the map into individual cases.
Spot patterns you might otherwise miss
A single complaint can look minor on its own. Seeing several in the same street or neighbourhood tells a different story. Case Map makes clusters easy to spot, so officers can act sooner. For example, an officer might log in, notice a cluster of noise reports in one area, and decide to escalate it to an incident.
Support better-informed decisions
Knowing where noise is already a problem can help with wider decisions too. For example, if an area already has a high level of noise complaints, that insight can inform discussions about events, such as a music festival, planned nearby.
Give managers a clear overview
Organisation managers can see at a glance how noise is affecting the communities they serve, which helps with planning, prioritising and reporting.
Nothing. Case Map is available automatically to all officers at every organisation using The Noise App from Wednesday 4 November. There's nothing to install or set up, and your existing cases and data aren't affected. You can still get to your case list from (location).
If you have any questions about Case Map, contact our support team or speak to your account manager.
