Are you a repairs officer or a housing manager working for a registered provider of social housing? Do you need an understanding of housing issues, hazards and courses of action?
RHE Global’s professional involvement with this group has identified specific training requirements in relation to the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS). As a result, we are delighted to be able to offer a new online course, Registered Providers of Social Housing: Making Sense of the HHSRS. The aim is to improve understanding of this aspect of housing legislation in relation to the job roles of those in this sector. Divided into two half-day webinar sessions, the course is for those who need a good grounding in the HHSRS but aren’t involved in undertaking HHSRS assessments themselves.
We are also pleased to offer HHSRS: A Guide for Beginners. This half-day webinar will deliver a basic understanding of the system. This course is aimed at anyone who visits families or enters properties as part of their work but, once again, does not need to undertake HHSRS assessments themselves, those such as social workers, health visitors, GPs, community safety wardens, police officers, building contractors, lettings officers, landlords with small portfolios.
The nature of both these courses is to be relevant to the audience on the day; for instance, focus can be put on one or two hazards in particular, depending on where interests lie.
