Microsoft Entra ID Single Sign-On (SSO) is now available across The Noise App, The Housing App and RIAMS, allowing organisations to connect their existing Microsoft environment and give staff a simpler way to access the RHE products they use.

Once configured, authorised users can sign in using their existing organisational Microsoft account rather than maintaining separate login credentials for each RHE product.

And for organisations using several of our products, one Entra SSO integration can work across them all.

One organisational login across RHE products

Local authority teams increasingly work across multiple digital systems as part of their day-to-day roles.

Every additional set of login credentials creates another password for employees to manage and another account for IT and system administrators to consider.

Microsoft Entra SSO helps simplify that experience by connecting RHE products with an organisation's existing Microsoft identity environment.

For example, a local authority using RIAMS, The Noise App and The Housing App can purchase the Entra SSO add-on and connect its Microsoft Entra environment once.

Staff can then use their organisational Microsoft identity to access the RHE products they are authorised to use, creating a more consistent experience across the RHE ecosystem.

Simpler for users. Easier to manage.

The benefits aren't limited to having fewer passwords to remember.

By integrating access to RHE products with Microsoft Entra, organisations can align them more closely with the identity and access management processes already managed by their IT teams.

For staff, that means a more familiar and straightforward sign-in experience.

For administrators and IT teams, it helps reduce the need to manage separate credentials across individual RHE products.

And importantly, customers subscribing to more than one supported RHE product don't need to purchase and configure a separate Entra integration for each one.

How does Microsoft Entra SSO work with RHE products?

During setup, the customer's Microsoft Entra environment is connected to RHE's authentication platform.

Once configured, staff accessing a supported RHE product can authenticate using their organisational Microsoft account.

The integration currently supports staff access across:

• The Noise App

• The Housing App

• RIAMS

The products a user can access will continue to depend on the organisation's subscriptions and the access they have been authorised to use.

Supporting a more connected RHE ecosystem

We're continuing to develop our products not only individually, but also around the way organisations use them together.

For customers using multiple RHE products, Microsoft Entra SSO provides another way to create a more joined-up experience across their services.

Rather than treating The Noise App, The Housing App and RIAMS as completely separate systems, organisations can use the same Microsoft identity to access the RHE technology they need as part of their role.

It's a relatively simple change for the person signing in, but one that can make accessing multiple services much more straightforward.

How can customers get Microsoft Entra SSO?

Microsoft Entra SSO is available now as an optional paid add-on for customers using The Noise App, The Housing App and/or RIAMS.

Initial configuration is required, and the customer's IT team will need to provide or configure the necessary Microsoft Entra information as part of onboarding.

RHE will support customers throughout the integration process.

Once the integration has been configured, individual users shouldn't need any additional setup. They can simply sign in using their organisational Microsoft account.
