Are you interested in exploring some of The Noise App's capabilities? Here’s a reminder of what’s available through our Premium and Enterprise services, along with some comprehensive training course options to help you get the most from the service.
Officer app submissions: Record and upload audio you’ve captured directly on site, straight into an existing case submitted by reporters.
Incidents: Group related cases by location or issue, providing a comprehensive view of recurring complaints.
Invite Only: Invite the reporters to the app, giving you full control over who can submit evidence.
Picture and video: Add additional media as supporting evidence.
Duration of recording: Set the maximum length for sound and video recordings, choosing from 30, 45 or 60 seconds.
Heatmaps: Assess when it is best to witness the incident firsthand with the aid of a calendar view of common and peak times of noise recordings per case.
Messaging: Choose whether to use the user-chat functionality
Noise sources: Choose which noise sources users can report on.
Media playback: Allow your reporters to review the recordings and media they have submitted on the app at any time.
Ongoing training resources: Access pre-recorded training videos for using the platform (ideal for new starters and refresher training).
With our Enterprise package, you will have access to all of the above, plus:
An increased recording/video length of 90 seconds
The capability to link TNA data to your back-office system
Easier login, authentication and staff management using your Microsoft Entra SSO account.
Make the most of whichever subscription you have by completing our training on Effective Management and Case Resolution Using The Noise App. Developed by Director of Community Safety Jim Nixon, this course takes a deep dive into The Noise App and looks closely at the Housing Ombudsman’s ‘Spotlight on: Noise Complaints’ report, exploring aspects such as investigating and safeguarding in more depth, including statutory nuisance and ASB, tools and powers, and much more. The course can be tailored to your organisation and there are plenty of opportunities for discussion throughout.
