Renters’ Rights Act 2025: The impact on private renting so far  

The roundtable took place on 22 September 2026, with Robin Stewart, Partner at Anthony Gold Solicitors. Robin explored how the sector has responded since implementation, looked at key cases emerging through the courts and tribunal system, the impact on local authority enforcement and what the changes mean for private sector landlords.

HHSRS 2026 Scoring Calculator and Case Studies

HHSRS 2026 Transition E-learning 

To get practitioners up to speed on the revised system, HHSRS 2026 Transition Training is now available. This e-learning is designed for practitioners already competent in HHSRS. It offers the opportunity to update your knowledge and become familiar with the key changes introduced through the 2026 regulations. Enrol here: HHSRS 2026 Transition Training (CPD: 3 hours) 

HHSRS Practitioner (England) 

Gain the knowledge, confidence and practical competence needed to carry out HHSRS assessments under the revised 2026 framework. This comprehensive blended learning programme combines interactive e-learning, expert-led webinars, practical hazard assessment exercises and a workplace-based inspection assignment. Designed for housing professionals undertaking HHSRS assessments as part of their role, this course develops consistent, evidence-based assessment skills and provides successful delegates with a Certificate of Competence, demonstrating their ability to identify and assess housing hazards with confidence. Practical Use of Community Protection Notices 

We have teamed up again with Resolve to deliver a morning webinar on the effective use of CPNs. Aimed at officers that deal with anti-social behaviour and nuisance, the course will help delegates identify suitable cases for using a CPN, understand the evidence required, the need for partnership working, how to draft a warning and a notice, and deal with breaches. Places are still available for our next course on 19 October.  where you can explore real-life scenarios and gain the tools you need to use these notices back at your workplace.
